Based on the chassis of their Gx-174 UDO Optical Library (optical jukebox), the Plasmon AA-174 Archive Appliance is a mid-range Network-Attached storage device that combines up to 10.4TB of secure, reliable, optical storage, with a built-in Network-Attach Storage server, up to 4TB of hard drive space for high-performance disk caching, gigabit Ethernet interface, and jukebox management software to manage the archival of data to the jukebox.
