Based on the chassis of their G-638 UDO Optical Library (optical jukebox), the Plasmon AA-638 Archive Appliance is an Enterprise-level Network-Attached storage device that combines 38TB of secure, reliable, optical storage, with a built-in Network-Attach Storage server, up to 4TB of hard drive space for high-performance disk caching, gigabit Ethernet interface, and jukebox management software to manage the archival of data to the jukebox.
