Archive One Compliance Manager, from
C2C Systems, installs and configures in minutes, utilizing
Microsoft Exchange
Server Journaling technology to capture every new
incoming and outgoing e-mail message and attachment.
The metadata and text from the messages and attachments
is then indexed by Archive One Compliance Manager
to allow fast search and retrieval of messages in
the archive.
On its way to the archive, the message data and attachments
are compressed and written to a storage medium such
as UDO Optical, to meet the compliance demands of
your organization.
Key features and benefits
of Archive One Compliance Manager include:
Regulatory
Compliance
Stores and indexes e-mail messages and attachments
in a method that satisfies regulatory requirements
for
SEC, NASD, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, DOD and others
Retention
Period Controls
Allows the creation of multiple retention periods
for organizations that have different compliance
regulations for individual departments, workgroups,
or job functions.
As regulatory requirements change, retention
periods can be extended or reduced for each
individual
archive repository. Record Disposition
Manages legal risk by enforcing retention policies
that automatically purge archived data upon
meeting the retention
period, avoiding unnecessary disclosure of
records that no longer need to be retained
Audit
Trails
Ensures integrity and authenticity by constantly
monitoring all archive repositories and
producing a detailed
audit trail that logs all critical activities
within the archive
Search and Retrieval
Auditors and compliance officers can use
intuitive combinations of search criteria,
simplifying
the ability to locate
e-mail messages and all related attachments
Message
integrity
Messages retrieved from the archive are
automatically decompressed, bound back
to their attachments,
and presented in their original format,
where they can
be exported
for review and analysis by auditors
or compliance officers
Other message types
Supports Instant Messages, SMTP mail,
RSS web feed, and Bloomberg messaging
system
data within
the e-mail
archive repository
Enhanced compliance
security
Provides the ability to implement
tiered delegation, allowing lower-level
system
administrators
to perform their duties without
jeopardizing the
security and
integrity of the entire archive
and the information stored within.
Message compression
All messages and attachments are
compressed during the archive
process using standard
algorithms, reducing the overall
storage requirements for
the archive
Optimized storage with
SIS
Single Instance Storage (SIS)
technology applied to attachments
saves the
same attachment used
in multiple
e-mails only once, further reducing
the overall storage requirements
for the archive
Storage Media
Options
Archive repositories can be
stored or moved from one type
of storage
media
to another
at any time,
including
DVD, UDO Optical, Tape, and
