The IBM 3995 Optical
Library, based on the Plasmon M-Series Optical Library,
offers storage configurations that range from 104GB
(20 slots) through
1.3TB (258 slots) when configured with the last generation
of IBM 5.2GB WORM drives.
In 2004, IBM announced the discontinuation of the
3995 Optical Library but has certified and is recommending
the Plasmon G-Series for OS/400 Optical Library
as the replacement.
