jukeboxes offer low-cost, near-line storage for
small companies, departmental workgroups, or Enterprise
applications requiring storage capacities that
range from 560GB to over 20TB of archival data
in a single library.
With the introduction of Multi-Function DVD
drives, Plasmon DVD jukeboxes can now write to
CD-R,
DVD-R, or DVD-RAM media, as well as read legacy
CD and DVD discs such catalogues, encyclopedias,
research databases, and software installation
CD's.
The Workgroup family of Plasmon DVD jukeboxes
includes the D-120,
D-240, and
D-480, and
offer storage capacities that range from 750GB
to 4.1TB, while the Enterprise family of Plasmon
DVD jukeboxes includes the D-875,
D-1525, and
D-2175, and
offer storage capacities that range from 7TB to
over 20TB.
Plasmon DVD jukeboxes can use rewriteable DVD-RAM
media for applications requiring secondary storage,
or Write-Once DVD-R media for applications requiring
permanent, unalterable storage to comply with
rules and regulations for data retention, such
as SEC 17a-4, Sarbanes-Oxley, and HIPAA.
All Plasmon DVD Libraries are backed by an on-site
warranty with 5 x 9 x 24 service coverage (M-F,
8am – 5pm, Next-Day) with the option of
upgrading to 5 x 9 x 4 (M-F, 8am-5pm, 4-Hour Response)
or 7 x 24 x 4 (7 Days, 24-Hours, 4-Hour Response)
for mission-critical applications.
